flash of light and when the smoke cleared the three bikes had joined to form a super dooper machine with "Cunning Force" written in red letters along the side. Conal the driver gunned the jet engines on Cunning Force and it took off like a rocket into the sky. Lucky Lu the navigator had entered the code for the homing device in her dad's car into her computer and was already given Courageous Cun the course to follow. "Range 30 miles, bearing 230" she said into her radio soother. "I'm on it" came the reply from Conal as he steered Cunning Force onto the course he was given. Within a few minutes they could see their Dad's car below them on the road. Brave Brendan the weapons expert, flicked a switch on his console and spoke into his microphone, "Pull it over Witchie Woo. You are not going to get away from us". Witchie Woo leaned out the car window and shouted, "I'm in a hurry so just go away". Brendan came back with, "This is your last warning. If you don't pull over I will open fire." Instead of stopping Witchie Woo started going faster so Brave Bren pulled out his his sniper's riffle and took aim at the tyres of the car below. "Pop" went the rifle followed quickly by another "Pop". The right side tyres of the car Witchie had stolen were now flat but she still |
didn't stop. "Swing around to the other side Conal and I'll finish off the other types" said Brendan. Conal gave a quick flick on the controls and the other side of the car came into Brave Brendan's sights. "Pop, Pop", and the left side tyres were flat. Witchie Woo could no longer control the car and it slid sideways to a stop with the drivers door up against the door of a building. "Come on Spot. Let's get out of here. They won't be able to follow us if we open this door and got straight into this building" said Witchie Woo. She huffed and puffed as she pushed the car door open and at the same time pushed open the door of the building beside it. She eventually crawled out of the car into the building. Imagine her surprise when she stood up to find that the building was the Police station and there were four big policemen there who quickly arrested her. Cunning Force returned home and although he had to get four new tyres, Lucky Lu's dad was happy to have his car back. The children went back to being regular kids until the next crime came their way.
