Witchie Woo and her black cat Spot were cruising on their broom around the Spiddal area looking for something for dinner. "What do you fancy Spot for tonights dinner?" she asked. "Meeooowww. Maybe a nice bit of beef would go down Meeooowww very  nicely" came the reply from the sly, soot black creature holding onto the broom with all his claws so he wouldn't fall off. "Hmm" said Witchie, "that means I need to find some cattle".

They were flying over some nice fields when they spotted four nice cows and a couple of young calves. "They will do nicely" said Witchie Woo as she swooped down and landed in the field beside the cows. "Meeoow how are we going to carry them home. They are a bit big." screeched Spot. "Don't worry my little pet I have a plan" came the reply from his master. She took her magic wand out of her bag and waved in it the air saying "Abrakedabra I've been a thinking you should be shrinking".

There was a flash and the cows and calves shrunk into tiny little aninals that Witchie quickly scooped up and put into her bag. "Let's get out of here cat. I can see the owner, Judy coming up the road".  She jumped onto the broom stick and shot off into the air and soon enough you could see her no more.

Judy came to see her cattle three times a day to make sure everything was okay. Shewas surprised to see Witchie Woo taking off from her field and even more surprised when she got to the gate of the field to see that her cattle were gone. "Oh chul chul O" she said, and to anyone who knew Judy that meant bad news.

She ran off down the road to where her grandchild Lucy lived. She knew that Lucy, or Special Agent Lucky Lu as she was known in the business, would be able to help her get her cattle back. She had heard many stories of the crimes Lucy, even though only two years of age, had solved with her brothers Brendan (Brave Bren) and Conal (Courageous Cun) and now it was time to find out if those stories were true.

She ran into the back yard of the house where she found Lucky Lu picking strawberries as she often did during the summer. Lucy did love her strawberries after all. Judy told Lucy that the cattle were gone
