St. Patrick's Day Parade

E-mail Print PDF

The first Spiddal St. Patrick's Day parade will take place on Wednesday 17th March at 11:30 am.

The national school band will start things off at 11:30 in the grotto of the church followed by a parade of local groups from the Craft Center through the villlage to the pier road and back again. The celebrations will be finished off with face painting and live music from the stage truck in the middle of the town.

I will post some pictures after the event.

Late announcment on the weekly Spiddal Market.

We now have a weekly market in Spiddal on Thursdays from 1 - 6:30 p.m. There's a good selection of crafts and foods available from local and regional suppliers. I'm there myself with a stall for The DyDY Shop where we are selling wooden games and puzzles plus other items for the home.

E-mail Print PDF

I have started to add some of the old C.L.G. An Spidéal pictures to the pictures gallery section.

Thanks to Máirtín Ó Flatharta for loaning me his collection of GAA calendars which I am scanning into JPEG files before uploading them to the internet.

If anyone wants a copy of one by email let me know and I'll forward it on.
