What is a House Swap? 

The are many services available whereby you can arrange to swap your house for a holiday with someone else usually from another country. No money is exchanged between the swappers but they usually both pay a fee to some internet service.

What does it cost?

Most services charge both parties involved in the swap and only reveal contact information to memebers who have paid for the service. At AnSpideal.net we only charge the person who has offered their house for swap on the site. A visitor to the site who has paid nothing can contact them by email to make arrangements for the swap.

Does that mean my email address will be published on the Internet?

No. That would not be a good idea as you would get loads of spam mail. What we do is create a unique email address @AnSpideal.net and forward email that visitors send to your proper email address. You can then decide whether you want  to respond or not. Your address will only appear if you respond to enquiries you recieve.

Can we swap cars?

Yes if both insurance companies agree of course. I have swapped house and cars in the past and it works well. You must be prepared to drive on the other side of the road if you go abroad in most cases.
